Chrissy Teigen is one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2019

Time‘s 100 Most Influential People in the World for 2019 have been revealed and the mag just released the six cover stars for the issues. Chrissy is also appeared in the full list, that you can check on Time’s official site. Here’s the article featured Chrissy, written by Eric Ripert.

“In this world, there are only two things: good food and bad food. What Chrissy Teigen and I have in common is that we like good food. I first met Chrissy on the set of my show, On the Table. The idea was to interview the guest while we cooked a meal together. She was a riot. She was out-of-her-mind funny, and we had a blast. But while she might come off as lighthearted, Chrissy’s cooking is truly excellent. She’s a true perfectionist and extremely precise. She remembers where she came from, and she’s very proud of that. Her father is of Norwegian descent, her mother is Thai and she’s American, and she’s bringing her culture to the food world. Her cookbooks are made for people to cook at home, but they’re not something you just leave on the coffee table—they’re recipes you want to make over and over again. She may be a top model, but all her life, Chrissy Teigen has liked to eat. She’s not shy about that—or anything else, really. She’s very opinionated, and I love her for it. But what I love most about Chrissy is that she’s very much herself. She may be glamorous and an icon in elegance, but she’s extremely approachable and warm. And above all, she’s a very proud mother and a tremendously supportive wife. I admire her so much.”

Chrissy Teigen Got Her First Tattoos

The couple that inks together, stays together? Seems to be the truth today for power duo Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, who showed off matching tattoos in a tribute to their adorable family of four.

The husband and wife team decided on a delicately scripted trio of names: For Legend, “Chrissy-Luna-Miles” was artfully penned on his upper arm, and for Teigen, “John-Luna-Miles” on her forearm. The artist behind the ink? Los Angeles-based Daniel Winter, whose fine-lined creations can be seen gracing the limbs of A-listers from Sophie Turner to Miley Cyrus. He was the one behind Lady Gaga’s Edith Piaf-inspired tattoo ahead of the Oscars.

The pro sets himself apart with a single-needle fine-line technique that allows for minimalist drawings of stars, palm trees, flowers sayings, and chain links that mimic a new bracelet. While Legend opted for just the set of names, Teigen added on a small heart on the inside of her index finger—a loving touch indeed. Click here to see the Instagram’s post.

Is Chrissy Teigen on Ellen DeGeneres list to replace her as talk show host?

Ellen DeGeneres is reportedly considering retiring from her chat show.

The 61-year-old television host is said to be stepping down as the host of her daytime celebrity chat show ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ and is considering the likes of Chrissy Teigen, Neil Patrick Harris and Ellie Kemper as her replacement.

A source told to Life & Style magazine: “Ellen is retiring from her Emmy-winning daytime talk show at wife Portia de Rossi’s urging and has already drawn up a shortlist of superstars to fill her dancing shoes. Ellen’s reached out to a few guest hosts who have filled in for her in the past. It’s not an easy decision, but it’s one she’ll be making soon.”

The publication reported earlier this year that the presenter was set to leave after “years” of her wife Portia “begging her to leave”. They said: “Ellen’s finally quitting Hollywood. After years of Portia begging her to leave her talk show behind, she’s finally relenting. Warner Bros were prepared to offer Ellen more money to stay but she promised Portia that this time, nothing would change her mind.”Although it has been claimed Ellen is set to leave the show behind, the star insisted last year that she has no plans to slow down anytime soon as she loves her job so much. She previously said: “I don’t know what I’m looking forward to. That’s why I’m going to keep doing this until I figure that out. I’m not looking forward to retiring because I love doing this.”

And Ellen admits she is “shocked” every time she remembers she has reached six decades of life. Speaking before she reached the milestone, she added: “I’m shocked that I’m turning 60 because it just sounds horrible. It just does.”

Chrissy Teigen Went On Family Feud And Lost Part Of A Tooth

Family Feud is a vicious game. Do not play unless you are prepared to chip a tooth, as Chrissy Teigen did recently! The cookbook author and Twitter auteur recently went on the show, only to leave with a chipped tooth.

“I can’t say if we won or lost family feud but we definitely brought a flask, I definitely chipped a tooth and there was definitely a record set,” Teigen wrote on Instagram.

The record to which she’s referring appears to be… most teeth chipped during a taping of Family Feud? Teigen’s episode will air soon, so the tooth-chipping is still a bit of a mystery. (Did she slam the buzzer with her teeth?) Regardless, the episode is looking good: Teigen and her family faced off against the cast of Vanderpump Rules, a show which Teigen openly adores.

Chrissy Teigen, reigning leader of Twitter, versus Pump Rules, Twitter fave? Well, it’s not Lady Gaga versus Glenn Close (which Saturday Night Live did this weekend), but it’ll do. All’s fair in love and Family Feud!

Chrissy Teigen’s episode will air Sunday 24th February!

Chrissy Teigen To Host City Harvest’s 2019 Gala

City Harvest, New York City’s largest food rescue organization, announced today that Chrissy Teigen, TV host, model, and bestselling author, and Antoni Porowski, Emmy Award-winning TV personality, actor, food expert, author and restaurateur, will co-host City Harvest: The 2019 Gala, on April 30. Teigen and Porowski are also members of City Harvest’s Food Council, a group of culinary experts and top chefs that support the organization’s work to rescue good food that would otherwise go to waste and deliver it to New Yorkers in need.

The event will honor Richard Gere, Golden Globe Award-winning actor and activist; Marc Granetz, MG, Chief Administrative Officer, JPMorgan Chase and City Harvest board member, and his wife Kris Granetz; and Michael White, Chef and owner of the Altamarea Group, which includes two Michelin-starred Marea, one Michelin-starred Ai Fiori, and Vaucluse. Each of these honorees has shown tremendous commitment to supporting City Harvest’s mission to help our neighbors in need put meals on their tables.

“Feeding people is my passion, and as a mom, nothing is more important to me than making sure my family has nutritious meals,” said Teigen. “With more than 1.2 million New Yorkers struggling to feed themselves – including one in five children – so many families are relying on City Harvest to get healthy food on their tables. I’m thrilled to host the gala this year with my friend Antoni and raise awareness of this important work.”

“Like many of us, I am privileged to call New York City my home, and with this privilege comes the responsibility of ensuring none of its citizens go hungry,” said Porowski. “It is of utmost importance that we take care of one another just as we would a guest in our own home. I’m honored to join my friend Chrissy Teigen to host City Harvest’s gala this year and help support the critical work they do feeding New Yorkers in need.”

“We’re honored and excited to have our long-standing friends, Chrissy Teigen and Antoni Porowski, co-host the City Harvest 2019 gala. We know their energy, humor, and commitment to our work will make it a memorable and very special night, and we’re so grateful to them for supporting our work rescuing and delivering food for New Yorkers in need,” said Jilly Stephens, City Harvest’s Chief Executive Officer.

City Harvest: The 2019 Gala will take place at Cipriani 42nd Street in Manhattan. The event brings together celebrities, influencers, and NYC’s high profile individuals, and is the organization’s most important fundraising event of the year. It features an elegant dinner with live and silent auctions. Past attendees have included Julianne Moore, Chelsea Clinton, John Legend, Cynthia Nixon, and Martha Stewart. Chef supporters have included Eric Ripert, Geoffrey Zakarian, José Andrés, Tom Colicchio, Marc Murphy, Marcus Samuelsson, Donatella Arpaia, and Ted Allen. City Harvest’s 2018 gala raised nearly $4.7 million, enough to help feed more than 17,000 New York City families for a year.

Chrissy Teigen Will Be A Judge Of The Show ‘Bring the Funny’

NBC has picked up the reality competition series “Bring the Funny,” with Kenan Thompson, Chrissy Teigen and Jeff Foxworthy attached to serve as judges.

In the style of “America’s Got Talent” and CBS’s “The World’s Best,” the 10-episode series will showcase multiple styles of comedy on the same stage — traditional stand-ups and sketch troupes, as well as comedic variety acts including “musicians, magicians, podcasters, puppeteers, YouTubers and more.” The winner will receive a $250,000 prize. Amanda Seales will serve as host for the show.

David Friedman and Matilda Zoltowski will serve as executive producers. Bruce Hills, president of the comedy festival Just for Laughs, is consulting producer. The series will be produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio.

“Great comedians know how to make us laugh while serving as a reflection of the times, and we are excited to embrace and support the myriad of ways funny people bring us levity and humor today,” said NBC Alternative and Reality Group president Meredith Ahr. “Kenan, Chrissy, Jeff and Amanda are not only hilarious, but are pioneers in their respective arenas and understand what it takes to have longevity and breadth in this industry. They, along with our partners at Just for Laughs, will be an insightful resource for the talent that takes our stage.”

Chrissy Teigen Confirmed The Launch Date Of Her Target Line

Chrissy Teigen’s second cookbook, which hits stores on September 18, won’t be the only major launch for the celebrity this month. Teigen initially teased that she would be launching a Target product line back in February, but thanks to a series of recent Instagram posts, fans now know exactly when they’ll be able to purchase the new collection.

“I’M IN TARGET!!!! MY NEW #CHRISSYXTARGET collection will be avail exclusively at @Target starting 9/30!!!” I truly can’t believe any of this is happening and can’t wait for you all the see it,” Teigen wrote on Instagram. A target press release explains that the line will be a kitchen and tabletop collection complete will all the tools that the celeb uses to cook her signature recipes.

At the Create & Cultivate’s Los Angeles conference Saturday night, Chrissy Teigen was interviewed by her friend and hairstylist Jen Atkin. Toward the end, she revealed some major news. She is producing her own line of products and it sounds like it may be coming to a Target near you. “You guys love shopping at a place where you go to get one thing and you walk out with 5,000 things?” she asked the crowd as Atkin mouthed the word “Target,” the Zoe Report says. “I have a whole line there.” She didn’t include more details, such as when it would be released or what would be in the collection, but the announcement alone is enough to get her fans excited. What could the line be? Teigen has credibility in the home goods, cooking, and clothing arenas, so the options are nearly limitless.

The conference Teigen made the announcement at is aimed at women wanting to build their dream careers. The model, mother, and mogul had some great advice in this area. “I’m not going to come out here and say ‘only do what you’re passionate about,'” she told the crowd. More often than not, people advise you to only do what you love or what you care about, when in reality, your dreams are often mixed with things you would rather not do. “Nothing that I’ve done has come without something better coming from it,” Teigen added when she spoke about the importance of networking. Another key takeaway from her talk was the importance of knowing how you are perceived and apologizing when necessary.
